Will there be any impact to my viewing during the upgrade?

This upgrade should take only a few hours and will mostly happen during the late night or early morning. Chances are you might not even realize the change has occurred. Armstrong EXP powered by TiVo might not have full functionality during this time, but you will be able to play recordings, watch live TV, and use streaming applications.


Why do all channels appear now, but I removed them before?

Due to the upgrading of the channel guide, some channels may have been added or removed. If you customized your Channel List, you must go and re-customize it.


Will I have to reset my Parental Controls?

You will need to set your Parental Controls again for any new channels that appear after the migration is complete You can recognize the new added post-migration channels from a Pre-TiVo Central Message.


Why are my WishList results not what I expect?

Since the guide data is changing, if the keywords your WishList is looking for are not in th enew guide descriptions, you may need to make a new WishList and delete the old one.


Do the changes affect my OnePasses?

Possibly. If you are having trouble with OnePass recordings:

  1. Either search for the show or locate it in the guide.
  2. If you find the show, create a new OnePass and delete the old OnePass.


Why did my device record the wrong show?

The show probably changed to a different time during or after the updates, so the correct show did not record. Please reschedule the recording.


Why don't some specialized or local access channels have guide data?

Some (often smaller or local) stations' listings might be impacted by the Guide data change. If they do not return in 24 hours, please contact us.


Why are my collections missing?

Collections are not available during the migration process, but they will return when the guide data change completes.


Why do I have two folders for one program in My Shows?

One folder contains recordings completed before the changes in how your TiVo handles guide data. The second folder contains recordings completed after the changes. You can watch and delete the shows in the first folder, and it will eventually go away, otherwise two folders will remain.


Why did my deleted folders reappear in My Shows?

This may have happened if you've been browsing deleted items. It may also happen for content also carried by Apps. Try toggling your OnePass settings to stop content from apps being displayed again or simply delete the item again.
